Rigs & Tackle

Modern carp rigs look complicated, but almost everything on the bank today is a variation of a few simple mechanics. This collection teaches those mechanics step by step — starting with the hair rig — so you can tie reliable, fish-safe rigs at home and repair them at the water. Every tutorial here follows the same standards: components named plainly, UK terminology, hook sizes and breaking strains given as sensible ranges, and rig safety treated as non-negotiable — lead setups must always allow a fish to shed the lead if the mainline fails. If a rig can't be fished safely, we don't teach it.
